Your Istikhara was answered in the negative, so the proposal does not seem appropriate for you. Hence, you should act according to your Istikhara, and it would be better for you in-sha Allah.

If the boy and girl are mature and do Nikah as per the shariah ruling with mutual agreement, in principal the Nikah will be valid and applicable. However, they ought not to go against their parents.

بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم:۔ جب لڑکی کا مناسب رشتہ مل جائے  اور نکاح کا ارادہ ہو تو  دونوں کے گھروالوں کے  مابین  نکاح کا مسنون خطبہ پڑھے ، پھردومناسب گواہوں کی موجود گی میں  لڑکی کا نام مع ولدیت لے کر لڑکے سے کہے میں نے فلاں بنت فلاں کو  بعوض اتنے روپئے تمہارے نکاح میں دیا ، کیا تم نے قبو ل کیا؟ لڑکا جواب میں کہے کہ ”میں نے اس کو قبول کیا“۔تو اس ایجاب و قبول کے بعد نکاح منعقد ہوگیا۔  لڑکی کی طرف سے اس کی اجازت سے  اس کا ولی یا وکیل ایجاب کرے  اورلڑکا قبول کرلے تو بھی نکاح درست ہوگا، پھرحسب گنجائش  چھوارےتقسیم کئے جائیں۔ اور لڑکی کو لڑکے کے گھر بھیج دیاجائے۔ ہر جزء کی تفصیل کے لئے  متعلقہ کتابوں کی طرف رجوع کریں۔  واللہ اعلم بالصواب

بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم:۔ شادی کے موقع پر کسی چیز کا لین دین بطور رسم و رواج کے ناجائز  ہے۔ البتہ بلا کسی رسم و رواج کے التزام کے اگر دولہے کی ساس وغیرہ کوئی چیز دیدیں تو اس میں مضائقہ نہیں۔ مرد کے لئے سونے کی انگوٹھی پہننا حرام ہے لیکن اس کا مالک ہونا حرام نہیں ہے، اس لئے مرد انگوٹھی لے کر اپنے پاس رکھ سکتاہے یا اپنی بیوی کو پہناسکتاہے جبکہ ملکیت شوہر کی ہی ہوگی الا یہ کہ اپنی بیوی کو ہدیہ کردے یا مہر میں دیدے۔

It is not mandatory to have sexual intercourse after marriage, therefore your marriage is valid, and however, if the husband is not able to fulfill the woman's desire, he should contact a specialist and have a proper treatment.

If one wants to marry someone, then there is no harm in supplicating for her\him and one can supplicate Allah Ta'ala for the said purpose. However, one is not allowed to talk to a stranger man or to a stranger woman before marriage. Just being engaged does not eliminate the strangeness.
