(1) It is permissible to use all items available in the market, whether they are labeled as halal or not. However, if there is any doubt about a particular product, or if it is known to be suspicious by any reliable source or its product code. If haram ingredients are specified thereupon, then caution is required. Halal certificate can be trusted if issued by a reliable institution, and thus its certified products can be used.

(2) Kosher slaughter, used in Jewish custom for halal slaughter. If a Jew knows how to slaughter according to the teachings of his religion, his slaughter will be halal. Therefore, because of being the People of the Book, Kosher Zabiha will be halal. However, today's People of the Book do not usually take care of their religious teachings; hence kosher slaughter should be avoided.

The answer to your question is as follows:

Islam urges Muslims to acquire the knowledge of medicines and drugs to protect the living body from diseases. Ulama, due to its importance, regarded it as Farze Kifaya.

Muslim societies are without doubt in dire need of Muslim lady doctors for checkups and treatments. Muslim woman who observe parda and have never been open to strangers, hesitate to visit the male doctors and feel very shy to express their private problems to them, and indeed it is due to their modesty. Hence, Muslim women’s interest in attaining medicine knowledge meets a big objective of shariah and it is highly admirable in shariah.

You can choose whatever is more convenient to you. But before proceeding to become an obstetrician and gynecologist, you must know that there are some shariah rules about abortion.

Conducting an abortion may be permissible before the fetus has reached 120 days only when a trustworthy physician decides that the continuation of pregnancy poses risk to the mother's life or health. Thereupon, it is permissible to conduct an abortion to preserve the mother's life. However in the case the fetus has reached 120 days, it is not permissible to conduct an abortion even if it is medically diagnosed with congenital defects. Conducting an abortion when the age of the fetus has reached 120 days is considered killing a soul which Allah has forbidden in the Holy Quran. Killing a soul without right is absolutely a grave sin and both parties could be sinner.

The reward of charity is for the one who gives charity. However, at the time of giving a charity you have the intention that you are giving it on behalf of your wife then she will be rewarded for it. Therefore, while giving alms, make the intention that you are giving some Sadaqa on your own behalf and some sadaqa on the behalf of your wife, so that both may be rewarded.

The answer to your question is as follows:

Seeing a monkey in a dream is a sign of being confronted with cunning enemies. And somehow, for the sake of protection, it indicates that victory over these enemies can be achieved through Wazifa and Zikr. Therefore, you should keep reciting the words suggested in dreams as much as possible during the day hours. In addition, before sleeping, recite Surah Ikhlas, Surah Al-Falaq and Surah Nas and blow on your body. It can also be an indication of a deadly disease. May Allah protect us and keep us safe!

The answer to your question is as follows:

Law education is also a part of religious education. As other sciences are recommended in Islam, the law education is also permissible for Muslim women. Gaining law education is not a problem in itself, but the method of obtaining legal education needs to be pondered upon. If any alternative is available at home, it is better to stay at home and seek knowledge; otherwise, one should enroll in an institution where there is a segregated system of education with hijab.

In case, one becomes a lawyer, it is mandatory to take full care of what is halal and what is haram and completely avoid lying. Going out for fighting case in the court is not suitable for a young woman and surely it is against wisdom too.

The way the Islamic values are being violated in the name of higher education today is very tragic. Unless there is a suitable environment for learning, simply running after higher education is nothing but a materialistic approach.
